Cottaging and Golfing!!

We spent a couple of days at Boppa and Momma's cottage a last weekend, Jack headed there with them on Friday, and the rest of the Squad joined them on Saturday afternoon. Bubbers went for his first boat ride which thrilled him and both boys enjoyed the camp fire later that night.

Bubbers and his hat that he absolutley LOVES on his head....haha.....

On the boat...

Jack loving the wind in his hair....

Will with Daddy...

Jack and Momma sharing some drinks at the bistro. Jack was having "tea" I believe...

Boppa sharing his cookie with Will...

Sitting like a big boy at the fire...

The next day Mark and I left to play in the Wellington Motors Golf Tournament. We took Mark's apprentice Will and his girlfriend Brittany as our partners. Will had never golfed before, so we spent most of the 18 holes laughing hysterically. Some holes he would have done really well on if the object was to hit the grass further than your ball. We all had a great time and didn't even finish off too badly given our beginner! Thanks to Boppa and Momma for watching the boys so Mark and I could enjoy the day together!!

One very excited golfer. I only got out twice last year because of the new baby and the stupid c-section...

My very handsome husband looking pretty snazzy...

Will and Brittany. Mark told Brittany that his mom used to have a tablecloth like her shorts. He said it brought back happy memories of childhood picnics when he looked at her. He's so special.

Me and Brit relaxing waiting for our shot.

Swimming Lessons & Stanley Cup Champs!!

Both boys take swimming lessons at the local pool every Monday. Will absolutley loved it right from the start, and in typical Jack fashion, he started out his lessons with all the dramatics and screaming needed to draw attention from the entire pool. After about the third week, he walked into lessons like a completley different kid and walked away this past Monday as a graduate!! Mark and I were pretty proud given that we never thought he would pass. Happily, he's onto the next level. As is Will, but who could fail a 10 mth old????

Daddy came to Will's last lesson (it's at 9:00 a.m.), and took some pics of him and Mommy!

Daddy and Will after he graduated!

Jack and Daddy at lessons...

My little fish!!

The Detroit Red Wings made it to the cup this year, so there was very little to talk about here other than the Stanley Cup, lines, players, stats, etc. Yawn. I am SO pleased to announce (for those who live in a cave, or simply don't like hockey) that the Detroit Red Wings have won the Stanley Cup, and I can now have both my television and my husband back. Here are some pics of the Big Event. Yawn.

Daddy and his boys...

Big Bubs...

If anyone knows how to get a three year old to smile NICELY at the camera, please let me know.

This is Mark's best friend (for 31 years!!), who is also a devoted Red Wing Fan. Both the boys adore Uncle Mike!!
